Meet Jeffrey Copeland, M.D.

Jeffrey Copeland, M.D., has been a practicing plastic surgeon in the St. Louis and St. Peters areas for many years. Education

Jeffrey Copeland, M.D., is a resident of St. Charles, Missouri, and is on the medical staff at all of the local hospitals. He attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, where he completed his undergraduate degree in premedical science, attended medical school, and completed residencies in general and plastic surgery and a fellowship in microvascular surgery. He was a chief resident in both general surgery and plastic surgery.

Professional Career

Jeffrey Copeland, M.D., started his professional career as a plastic surgeon in St. Charles and St. Louis Counties. He was in solo practice from 1987 to 1998. He was then a partner in Plastic Surgery Consultants, Ltd. until 2005, when he established Copeland Cosmetic Surgery. The new practice located near St. Louis afforded him the opportunity to concentrate more fully on cosmetic surgery.

Professional Memberships and Affiliations

Jeffrey Copeland, M.D., has been president of the St. Charles-Lincoln County Medical Society, chief of staff at St. Joseph Health Center, and president of Plastic Surgery Consultants, Ltd. He is currently immediate past chief of staff at Barnes Jewish St. Peters Hospital, board chairman of Primaris (the Missouri Quality Improvement Organization), president of the Missouri Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, councilor to the Missouri State Medical Association from the 4th district, and a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Crisis Nursery.

Hobbies

Outside of his busy career as a plastic surgeon in St. Peters, Dr. Jeffrey Copeland’s interests include spending time with his family, music (especially jazz), and various forms of physical exercise including running, biking, and resistance and core training.
