Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept medical insurance plans?

Yes! Copeland Cosmetic Surgery collaborates with a variety of major insurance companies. We will happily assist you with insurance inquiries to determine whether your plan is accepted at our practice and whether coverage is available. Please call us at 636-397-2001 to see if your policy is included.

Are your BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® solutions fresh?

Yes! We prioritize the use of fresh botulinum toxin-based injectable solutions and we will not use “old” toxin solutions for our treatments.

Where does Dr. Copeland have hospital privileges?

Should I still go to my surgery appointment if there is a lot of snow that day?

If you feel it is not safe to travel please contact us – we can schedule another date for your procedure. On the other hand, if you believe you can safely make it to the appointment and you choose to maintain it, the hospital and surgery center should be ready for you unless you are notified otherwise well beforehand.

Do you charge for consultations?

For new patients at our practice there is a fee of $200 for the consultation process. This fee will be deducted from the final price quote. Our consultation process is exceptionally thorough. We spend approximately one hour comprehensively discussing the treatment process, including the benefits and risks of surgery, and addressing all of your questions and concerns.

Since it can sometimes take a while before a consultation appointment is available, is there a cancellation list?

Yes! We try to book consultation appointments as quickly and conveniently as possible for everyone, but we do have a somewhat lengthy list. If an opening suddenly becomes available, we will go in order as to who is next on the list to see if we can find someone who can fill the new opening.

How much does a mini-facelift cost?

This is a question that can be challenging to answer in general terms because the treatment is customized based on individual needs and goals. Please call our office at 636-397-2001 for more information on the price of this procedure.

What is the cost of a mommy makeover?

This is definitely one of our most frequently asked questions. A mommy makeover is a customized procedure that includes two or more treatments—typically involving the abdomen and the breasts—designed to restore one’s appearance after pregnancy and raising children. Since it is a combination procedure that is completely personalized to an individual’s body type and their unique treatment goals, those factors along with the potential for multiple surgical appointments make it challenging to answer specific cost questions about mommy makeovers. We typically advise individuals with questions about the cost of a mommy makeover to call our practice and speak with Beth, who is our patient care coordinator. Please talk with her and tell her about the treatments you are considering for inclusion in a mommy makeover and she can give you an estimated price range.
